The Shambhala Code of Conduct is about people. The Code of Conduct process is designed to empower effective action locally, regionally, and internationally. It’s important that the people of Shambhala who have reason to engage with this process can find the resources they need, including the people who have committed to working on Code of Conduct matters.

Recruitment of New Team Members 2022/23
Engagement with the Code of Conduct initiative means being part of a team who are committed to ensuring that we address misconduct in Shambhala in a way that truly reflects our dedication to fairness, kindness and inclusivity, and to maintaining a container of safety. It also means helping communities empower themselves to respond in difficult situations. This team is now set to grow in numbers.

Code of Conduct Council Members
The Code of Conduct Council’s role is to manage the formal complaints raised following the Shambhala Code of Conduct Policy and Procedure. This policy was created in 2020 and put into effect Shambhala Day 2021.
The current members of the Council are: John Sennhauser, Claudia Arnau, Jan-Frans Sturm, and Yasmin Spiegel.

Code of Conduct Facilitators
The Code of Conduct Facilitator’s role is to support the code of conduct process at a local level, providing individual support to those involved in a code of conduct process, following the Shambhala Code of Conduct Policy and Procedure. This policy was created in 2020 and put into effect Shambhala Day 2021.
The current Facilitators are: Jan Snyder and Vincent Drummer.
